What does TruthBubble do?
The public website accepts text claims and searches for related published fact-check reviews. It shows the original source's claim, publisher, rating, and link when available. It does not independently investigate the submitted claim or assign it a TruthBubble verdict.
What can the website checker verify?
It can search text of 10–2,000 characters for related published reviews. It does not accept image, video, Reel, or social-media URL uploads. A related review may address different wording, dates, or context.
Does no match mean the claim is false?
No. It means the search did not return a related published review. It is not proof for or against the claim and does not mean a complete investigation was performed.
How are a factual claim, interpretation, and belief different?
A factual claim can be compared with records, measurements, or other evidence. An interpretation explains what those facts might mean. Beliefs and value judgments express personal, moral, religious, or philosophical positions that evidence may inform but cannot always settle.
Can opinions or beliefs be fact-checked?
A factual assertion inside an opinion can be examined. A purely subjective opinion, prediction, joke, or value judgment cannot be labelled objectively true or false just because someone disagrees with it.
What are TruthBubble's seven factual verdicts?
Supported, Mostly Supported, Partly Supported, Misleading, False, Unsubstantiated, and Insufficient Evidence. 'Not fact-checkable' is a separate intake category, not an eighth factual verdict. The website related-review search does not assign these TruthBubble verdicts.
Is Unsubstantiated the same as False?
No. Unsubstantiated means an investigation did not establish enough support for the claim. False means strong evidence contradicts the central factual proposition.
What does High, Medium, or Low confidence mean?
In supported independent-assessment flows, confidence describes how strong and complete the evidence and assessment are; it is not a percentage chance that a claim is true. High indicates stronger, more directly relevant and consistent evidence; Medium indicates meaningful evidence with important limitations or disagreement; Low indicates sparse, incomplete, or conflicting evidence. The website related-review search does not provide a TruthBubble confidence level.
Where does the evidence come from?
The website search returns published reviews from its configured fact-check search service. Each result keeps the publisher's original rating and links to the original review when available. Open that review to see what it examined; a match is not automatically evidence for the exact wording you submitted.
Why can a finding remain uncertain?
Sources may be missing, unavailable, outdated, conflicting, or not relevant to the exact wording. A clip or screenshot may lack date, location, or surrounding context. New evidence can change what is supportable.
Does a person review every result?
The website checker is an automated search for related published reviews; it does not create a new TruthBubble finding for a person to approve. Human review arrangements for each independent Android beta assessment are not confirmed on this website, so do not assume every automated assessment has been individually reviewed.
How is AI used?
AI-assisted automation contributes materially to research and analysis in the separate Unified V2.1 workflow used in supported Android private-beta flows. That workflow can make mistakes or miss context. The website checker does not run it; it searches for related published reviews.
Can a plausible but unproven inference mean misinformation?
Not by itself. An interpretation can be reasonable without conclusive proof. The broader assessment framework considers the evidence, alternatives, and whether the conclusion is proportionate to what is known.
Does emotional language mean a post is misleading?
No. Tone describes how communication comes across, not a person's intent. Passionate arguments, satire, legitimate criticism, and emotional reporting are not inherently misleading.
Are safety labels factual verdicts?
No. Safety assessments are separate from factual accuracy and require specific evidence and careful attribution, including distinguishing quoted material from endorsed material.
What platform features are available?
The text checker is available on this website. Selected post, image, screenshot, and video flows are in private Android beta and can vary by approved test build. The site does not provide a direct Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, or Telegram connection.
Can I check Instagram Reels, images, or videos?
Not with the website checker. Selected media workflows are being tested with private Android beta users; support depends on the specific approved test build. This is not a public Instagram integration or a guarantee that every Reel or file can be checked.
Are iOS or a Chrome extension available?
No. iOS and browser-extension support are planned; there is no public release date. WhatsApp and Telegram bots are not available or confirmed.
What is TruthBubble Network?
It is a planned research product for exploring documented claims, sources, and framing patterns over time. Creator profiles are still in development; there are no verified profiles or reputation scores to browse today.
Does TruthBubble rate creators by politics or religion?
No creator ratings are published. A person's political or religious viewpoint is not a reliability score. Any future profile would need documented examples, transparent sampling, context, and clear limitations.
How can I send a correction or relevant evidence?
You can email hello@truthbubble.in through the Contact page. This is a general email pathway, not a dedicated correction or appeal system. No review procedure, response time, or outcome is guaranteed.
How is submitted content handled?
The website sends the text you submit to its server, which forwards it to the configured public fact-check search backend. Do not submit passwords, payment details, private medical records, or confidential information. The linked Privacy notice is a draft pending owner and legal review, not a final statement of all processing.
Does the website save my checks or offer accounts?
No website account, saved-results list, or check history is currently available. The site uses session storage temporarily to carry a draft claim from the homepage to the checker. Early-access requests are stored so the team can manage beta requests; detailed retention practices still need owner confirmation.
Can I ask to delete early-access data?
Yes. You can email hello@truthbubble.in for general website questions, or use the public account-deletion page to send an account and data deletion request to truthbubbleapp@gmail.com without signing in. Deletion requests are handled manually after account ownership is verified; no fixed completion target is published on the website.
Are subscriptions or payment available?
No. The displayed prices and plan allowances are proposals, not offers for sale. There is no checkout, active subscription, or website credit balance.
How do I join the Android beta?
Use the early-access form to request consideration. A request does not guarantee acceptance or delivery; the current site says approved testers receive a private APK link by email.
When will iOS and browser support launch?
They are planned, but no guaranteed public release date is listed.
